Star Wars III - Revenge of the Sith

Well at least that was enjoyable. The dialogue as well as many acting performances were still quirky. And emotionally, many things fell flat. But what the hell. At least it worked this time around. Sort of.

Hopefully Star Wars will continue to branch out into games and a TV series like planned. There is no shortage of stories to be told and worlds to explore .. just not with Lucas at the helm.

As for the political subtext I think it was more than clear. It’s no wonder many saw the last piece in the story arc as contemporary criticism, even though the arc was conceived decades ago. And looking back at history, as Lucas evidently has, it is apparent that some things never change and that we keep doing the same mistakes over and over again. If anything that seems to be in our nature.
