Sweden targets US terror cooperation. Cooperating with terror indeed … US state terrorism.

Sweden and the US are to begin joint research into how certain kinds of terrorist attacks can be prevented.

The Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) has been instructed by the government to negotiate an agreement with America’s Department of Homeland Security, which was formed in the aftermath of the attacks on 11th September 2001.

“Sweden’s knowledge of chemical and biological weapons is internationally renowned,” said Lars Sandström, FOI’s international coordinator.

The foundation for the agreement was laid in May when Defence Minister Leni Björklund visited the Department of Homeland Security in the US, explained Lars Sandström. He described the move as a major step forward.

It seems weird. No one in their right mind would choose to work with the DHS. It may be big, well funded and intimidating, draconian even … but competent … I think not. For neutrality reasons and for pure technical reasons this move is deeply embarrassing.

If this negative trend is to continue I shall have to allot more time to setting things right domestically. I may have underestimated the allure of power and the excitement of being part of illusory wars. I should have been more concerned when Sweden so easily allowed the lease of the SSK Gotland class submarine, which is currently performing war games on the US west coast for the benefit of the warring US elite. Certainly not ours. And then there was the sellout of Bofors to a US conglomerate (United Defense … now British owned BAE) which lead to Bofors teaming up with Raytheon, making Excalibur, the future 155mm ammunition for America’s light howitzers and supposedly a template for modernizing that field of the US war machine. Granted it’s not much all in all, but those are augmentations that I would have rather withheld from the US, making their mission of maintained hegemony at least a little more difficult.
