Games, games, games

It would be great if game releases were spread more evenly across the year. As it stands it’s hard to keep up. Concessions have to be made, games have to take priority over real life. And you still don’t have time to look at every release. It’s crazy.

Recently we’ve had Quake 4, F.E.A.R., Pro Evolution Soccer 5, Call of Duty 2, Civilization IV, Space Rangers 2, Starship Troopers … the list goes on. And soon to be released are Star Wars: Battlefront II, City of Villains, Battlefield 2: Special Forces, Earth 2160 and movie tie-ins like King Kong and Aeon Flux. And perhaps Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth will finally show up for PC too.

Another thing that is bugging me are Games that use Starforce. This site has a manifesto against the increasingly destructive game protections.
Looking at the scene, it is obvious that people still haven’t been able to quite get over the latest generation of copy “protections.” It is comforting to know that they do more damage to legit users though.
