NZXT, known for their notoriously awkward and complicated designs, has finally come up with a reasonable aluminum case that wont make you look like an idiot. Not a total one anyway. Like the Gigabyte Aurora, another stylish and innovative newcomer, the NZXT Lexa is a tower model so that would place it roughly in-between a midi-tower and a big-tower, if that makes any sense.
It does have some nasty modding characteristics, like the side window and the blue LED fans but it is also sturdy and extremely well crafted and that sets it apart from many of the other pre- and post-mods out there. It also has very adequate cooling and the special HD bay that I like to much. Obvious downsides, price of course, though it’s not quite as steep as the Aurora.

Temperature evaluation of Lexa and Aurora at Hardware.no As predicted, without any tweaking, the Lexa is the better choice in terms of system temp while Aurora provides better spot cooling for gfx card and cpu. Overall, both chassises perform very well.
