Apparently the filters are “working.” But no one goes so far as to ask themselves if the path we have started down is worth the loss of liberty and the infringement upon a pristine wired world. Now they “prove” how necessary the bloated filter is by showing that there are 20,000 to 30,000 blocked access attempts every day, using the same bloated filter. Everything is easy to prove if you have unlimited resources, hegemony and a sympathetic press and ISPs.

TheLocal - Every day 20,000 to 30,000 attempts by Swedes to enter child pornography sites are blocked, according to the latest figures from the police, who say that filters introduced in April are working.

Between 80% and 90% of child porn web sites are blocked by the filters, reported Svenska Dagbladet, after a joint operation by the police, the organisation Ecpat, which works against child prostitution and pornography, and several internet service providers.

There are around 1,100 web sites on the police’s blacklist. Anyone who tries to access them is shown a “barrier page” instead, which prevents the user from going any further.

Some newspapers even went so far as to denote everyone of those 30,000 hits as “paedophiles.” Let the witch burning begin!

Here are just a few sites that I’ve been able to detect as blocked. Judge for yourself if the content is “child porn” or not. If you still have the freedom to think for yourself. Because bastardized morality and “decency” has gotten the best of us.
