Sploid - Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller, owner of the Megaplex at Jordan Commons in Sandy, Utah, pulled the gay cowboy romance “Brokeback Mountain” from his theater just one day before it was due to open.In an interview with KCPW-FM reporter Jonathan Brown on Thursday Miller originally said that booking the film was “something that I have to let the market speak to some degree,” Miller told Brown. “I don’t think I’m qualified to be the community censor.” It turns out that Miller was unaware of the film’s homo-erotic story until Brown explained it to him. Two hours later came the announcement that the film would not be shown.
