NASA appointee lacked credentials

The US regime sure isn’t shy about appointing unqualified yes-men. One should also note how seemingly easy this discovery was made and hence how little research was put into this by the corporate media. Sometimes, a cover-up doesn’t entail much of anything, just blind faith in believing what the powers that be keep telling you. That is the grand cover-up that we need to turn on its head.

Sploid - A recent appointee to the NASA press room made headlines last week amid contentions that he was stifling dissent about global warming.

Now Deutsch is being outed as a college dropout, despite a resume that includes a degree in journalism from Texas A & M.

George Deutsch was writing at Texas A & M’s school paper, “The Battalion,” in 2003 pumping out the Bush party line on all manner of topics. He was such an eager mouthpiece for the administration’s policies that with the 2004 election nearing, Deutsch was offered a job with the Bush campaign.

So what we have here is a man without the credentials that one would imagine be required. But even that is besides the point, had he handled the assignment in a neutral fashion. Here is a man that formerly spouted the party line for a living and is now actively stifling science and opinion that goes against that same party line, working at perhaps the most important scientific institution in the world. But I’m sure “he’s a heckuva guy” …

And thanks to the efforts of Nick Anthis over at the Scientific Activist George Deutsch has been forced to resign. One should note however that the real problem goes much deeper and wider than just some flunky in the press room. See also: Another ID martyr?
