The sarcasm seems to have passed you by. What part of "fascist UK" didn't you catch on to? I welcome the experiment because I am confident it will carry considerable blowback and I do live for Schadenfreude and I do carry a resentment towards capitalism. Sorry if that wasn't expressed clearly enough. Of course I think this is a horrible idea. I don't for a moment think that it will work and the long term effects will no doubt be bad public relations for the shopkeepers.

Yes you may have made a few valid points, it could prove useful in 1 or 2 situations but unfortuently you have overlooked dozens of reasons why this will never be a long lasting device

Babies/Children
These are not in anyway responsible for beating up shop owners..yet you say they should be subjected to such ear piercing sounds?

Strenght of the device...Like many objects that "prevent" hostile activities (locked gates, security guards etc..) they are one savage beating away from being rendered useless
you spend however much this ghastly item costs and within a few days of pissing off some kids i guarantee it will be destroyed beyond recognition

If you are awaiting this "social experiment" then i pity your worthless existance and i suggest you get a hobby
