Another year, another piece of the conspiracy against mankind. The annual Bilderberg meeting was concluded on June 8th. Taking place at Chantilly, Virginia, USA, it drew the usual suspects of world leaders, war criminals, bankers and aristocracy. Among the most notable attendees were names like Henry Kissinger, David Rockefeller, Paul Wolfowitz, Robert Zoellick, Ben Bernanke, Charlie McCreevy, Condoleezza Rice and Richard Perle. Not to mention the editor of Danish Jyllandsposten (of "Mohammed Cartoons" fame), Flemming Rose - a close confident of the neocons.

It has also been suggested that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, in secret, converged in northern Virginia, only miles from this year’s Bilderberg site. Coincidence, maybe …

Of course, the so called free press made little or no effort to report on the Bilderberg meeting. They were instead busy making up stories about Iran, tattletaling about celebrities, analyzing football, detailing fascinating cases of birth defects or whatever it is they do. The so called new media, the blogosphere or whatever they like to call themselves, were also curiously absent. There was basically just Alex Jones and his bullhorn.

The main topic of this year seems to have been the economic crisis. Or rather, how to give the world more of the same, and use this golden opportunity to push for ever more aggressive measures. As such, we have the IMF calling for a world currency, and the bankers are calling for a global, centralized bank framework.

From the guest list it is evident that the secretive group remains a western hub of influence and decision making. Attendees from non-western countries are either former members of government (ousted much to the ire of the Bilderberg king makers no doubt), political expats, or members of western think tanks. No doubt many of these people are hopeful that they will one day be rewarded for their loyalty, as the "shock doctrine" pulverizes their home lands to create a more integrated and subservient member of the world community, under Washington consensus.

Swedish conspirators included: Carl Bildt (Minister of Foreign Affairs), Tom Johnstone (President and CEO, AB SKF, born in Scotland for the record), Maud Olofsson (Minister of Enterprise and Energy; Deputy Prime Minister) and Jacob Wallenberg (Chairman, Investor AB).
